Role Overview

We are seeking a skilled Waste Network Operative to join our team at Severn Trent. As a key member of our Waste Customer Networks team, you will be responsible for resolving various issues and providing exceptional customer service in the Staffordshire region.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out CCTV surveys of drainage systems to maintain, diagnose, and determine the most appropriate solution.
  • Liaise with other departments, including our control centre, operations, and maintenance.
  • Work within confined spaces and at heights.
  • Operate your vehicle in compliance with road transport legislation and Severn Trent policies and procedures.
  • Ensure vehicles are maintained in a clean and roadworthy condition both internally and externally.

Requirements

  • A standard license as a minimum.
  • A passion for doing a quality, right-first-time job, together with good attention to detail, to ensure you get to the root cause of issues and get them fixed.
  • Self-motivation, the ability to work as a team as well as autonomously, and an excellent work ethic.
  • The ability and desire to build strong relationships with customers.
  • Strong organisation skills with an interest in problem-solving.
