We are seeking a Senior Mechatronics Engineer with strong experience in designing and building electro-mechanical products or machines for our automation team.

Key responsibilities include designing machines such as robots, actuators and conveyors; designing electrical and pneumatic control systems as well as managing automation projects and providing technical assistance to other engineers.

Required skills and qualifications include:

  • Degree in Mechatronics, Electrical or Mechanical Engineering
  • Minimum 4 years' experience in the design of electro-mechanical products or machines
  • Excellent 3D CAD skills (SolidWorks a plus)
  • Familiarity with pneumatic and electrical control systems
  • Ability to write software for PLC control systems in Ladder Logic
  • Experience with Allen Bradley RS Logix/Studio 5000 and FactoryTalk View; programming Mitsubishi SCARA robots, programming Fanuc 6 axis robots

A competitive salary of £60,000 - £80,000 per annum is on offer, along with a comprehensive benefits package.
