About the Role

Temporary Assistant Store Manager

Claire's is a leading high street fashion retailer with over 3000 stores globally.

As an Assistant Store Manager, you will support your Store Manager in the following areas:

  1. Sales and Profit: Drive and achieve retail store targets
  2. Customer Service: Deliver an exceptional level of customer service
  3. Store Operations: Ensure the store runs smoothly
  4. Commerciality: Maintain well-merchandised and commercially correct stores
  5. Team Leadership: Assist Store Manager in training and coaching the store team
  6. Ear Piercing: You will receive full training

About You

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Minimum one year retail management experience
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Basic computer skills
  • Sound understanding of mathematics and strong reading comprehension
  • Ability to analyze sales reports and strategically problem solve
  • Ability to stand during scheduled shifts
  • Ability to maneuver up to 25 lbs regularly and up to 75 lbs occasionally
  • Bending, stooping, extended reaching, climbing ladders and step stools while placing merchandise and assisting customers
  • Ability to operate POS system
