About the Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Care Lead to join our team at KYN. As a Care Lead, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional person-centered care to our residents, preserving their dignity, respect, and wellbeing.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the Clinical Lead/Dementia Lead/Nurse in delivering the highest standards of care to individuals living in a KYN residence.
  • Ensure the highest standard of individualized care and attention is delivered by you and those you supervise, in accordance with the residents' individual care plans.
  • Issue a daily report to the person in charge at the end of each shift, relating to the care delivered to your designated residents, noting any changes in behavior or physical health.
  • Lead, motivate, and mentor your team to ensure strong relationships are developed with our residents and one another.
  • Create a nurturing environment where our residents and their families feel loved, happy, safe, and secure.
  • Act as a brand ambassador, demonstrating and leading the KYN values.

About You

We are looking for a patient and empathetic individual with the ability to deal with difficult situations with tact and diplomacy. You will have the ability to lead and motivate team members, inspire professionalism, and build professional and trusting relationships with every member of the team.

Requirements:

  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to anticipate problems before they arise.
  • Ability to resolve complaints and investigate and manage incidents effectively and efficiently.
  • Compassionate, empathetic, kind, and caring individual.
