Key Responsibilities- Support residents with all aspects of their daily life, including social and physical activities, personal care, mobility, and meal times.
- Deliver a high standard of support to residents in all aspects of their care and daily living, including physical, emotional, and spiritual needs.
- Assist in care planning, demonstrating an understanding of person-centered care.
- Participate in providing a stimulating environment for residents.
- Promote holistic care for residents.
- Assist in bathing and dressing of residents, respecting dignity.
- Assist residents at mealtimes.
- Correct use of hoists and manual handling needs.
- Adhere to Safeguarding of Vulnerable Adults (SOVA) standards.
- Monitor individuals' conditions by taking their temperature, pulse, respiration, and weight, and possibly helping with medication.
- Kind, compassionate, and thoughtful approach to care.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work as part of a team and support colleagues.
- Flexibility to work varying shifts, including nights and weekends.
