Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated SEN Learning Support Assistant to join our team at a mainstream Chelmsford primary school. The successful candidate will work with students who have various special needs, including ASD, SEMH, and complex learning disabilities.

This is a long-term, full-time position, requiring the candidate to be available 5 days a week between 8:30 am - 3:30 pm.

Responsibilities
  1. Assist in delivering effective teaching in small groups.
  2. Help with lesson planning and delivery.
  3. Support the development of pupils, focusing on educational and behaviour-related needs.
  4. Prepare classroom resources.
  5. Provide feedback to teachers and parents.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, patience, and a passion for supporting children with special needs.
