Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Business Analyst to join our team at Gregory Martin International. As an Operational Analysis Specialist, you will play a key role in driving business growth and improvement through data-driven insights and strategic decision making.

About the Role

As a Senior Business Analyst, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and running analysis models to inform senior-level decision making. You will work closely with our clients and our team of consultants and analysts to deliver high-impact services and solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Designing and developing analysis models to drive business growth and improvement
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and develop solutions
  • Developing and maintaining complex data models and databases
  • Providing data-driven insights and recommendations to senior-level stakeholders
  • Leading the day-to-day delivery of projects and working closely with clients and team members

Requirements

  • Strong mathematical skills and experience with data analysis and modeling
  • Proficiency in software development using Python and experience with data science techniques
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients and team members
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and ability to adapt to changing priorities

Desirable Skills

  • Experience working with UK MoD and government clients
  • UI/UX design and development experience
  • Discrete event simulation and data science techniques
  • Advanced data analysis in Excel, including VBA
  • Knowledge of current software development approaches, platforms, and best practices
