About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Business Analyst to join our team at Gregory Martin International. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a leading role in delivering high-impact services and solutions to our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver Insightful Analysis: Utilize operational analysis approaches to provide impactful insights to clients, driving business growth and improvement.
  • Consultative Approach: Take a consultative approach to your work, understanding how your analysis contributes to delivering exceptional results for clients.
  • Model Development: Develop models and tools using agile approaches, including requirements capture, design, development, testing, and management.
  • Data Analysis: Collate, manage, structure, analyze, present, and visualize data to inform senior-level decision making.
  • High-Quality Outputs: Produce high-quality analysis and outputs, including internal and external presentations and reports.
  • Project Delivery: Take a leading role in the day-to-day delivery of projects, working closely with clients and our team of consultants and analysts.

Requirements
  • Strong Data Analysis Skills: Strong data analysis skills and experience working with data analysis tools.
  • Advanced Excel Skills: Advanced Excel skills, including VBA.
  • Industry Experience: Experience working within the UK MoD and Defence establishments.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Stakeholder engagement, requirements gathering, and process design skills.
  • Communication Skills: Self-starter and team player with good communication skills.
  • Organizational Skills: Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to multi-task and prioritize work.
  • Attention to Detail: Attention to detail and drive to see work through to completion.
  • Education: Degree, MSc, or equivalent experience.
Desirable Skills
  • Advanced Data Analysis: Advanced data analysis in Excel, including VBA.
  • Decision Making: Decision making techniques and processes.
  • Operating Models: Operating models and organizational design.
  • Software Development: Software development using Python.
  • Industry Knowledge: Knowledge of current software development approaches, platforms, and best practice.
  • Technical Skills: Experience of Microsoft365, SharePoint, PowerBI, Dataverse, and PowerApps solutions.
