DFS Furniture Ltd is seeking an experienced Payroll Operations Specialist to join their team. The successful candidate will have a strong background in payroll processing and be able to work accurately and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

About the Role

The Payroll Operations Specialist will be responsible for the accurate processing of payrolls, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and procedures. This includes the audit and review of information received, production of reconciliation and control reports, and answering queries from internal colleagues and external sources.

What You'll Be Doing
  • Processing weekly and monthly payrolls, adhering to established processes and statutory legislation
  • Audit and review of information, ensuring adherence to internal procedures and deadlines
  • Production of payroll reconciliation and control reports, providing valuable insights into payroll operations
  • Providing exceptional customer service, responding to queries and data requests from colleagues and external sources
Requirements
  • Excellent communication skills, with a professional approach to customer and internal interactions
  • Collaborative worker who can operate effectively within a team environment, demonstrating flexibility and resilience
  • High attention to detail, with the ability to deliver results under tight deadlines
  • Strong technical skills, including proficiency in Excel and experience with HR and payroll systems
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a fast-paced environment
  • Familiarity with MHR iTrent and Iris Cascade systems, with experience of working with standalone and integrated HR and payroll systems
