Job Overview

This is an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated candidate to join the Central Logistics Unit at South Central Ambulance Service NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of a five-person team, you will play a critical role in implementing the newly acquired Asset Management System, which aims to install a digital solution to better manage the Trust's Clinical Assets.

Main Responsibilities
  • Support the Implementation Coordinator in establishing and embedding new processes for managing clinical assets.
  • Conduct auditing of clinical asset holdings by locating clinical assets and recording relevant details.
  • Support OSS staff in establishing and embedding new processes for the storage of clinical assets.
  • Print RFID tags and label clinical assets using RFID tags.
  • Verify that clinical assets are allocated a unique RFID and have been correctly tagged.
  • Train and support staff to use and maintain asset management hardware and software.
  • Conduct system and process testing and support user acceptance tests.
  • Collect feedback from stakeholders and report to the Implementation Coordinator.
Person Specification
  • Essential criteria:
    • Evidence of a broad experience working in a warehouse environment.
    • Category B driving licence.
  • Desirable criteria:
    • Pallet truck training.
