This is an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated candidate to join the Central Logistics Unit at South Central Ambulance Service NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of a five-person team, you will play a critical role in implementing the newly acquired Asset Management System, which aims to install a digital solution to better manage the Trust's Clinical Assets.
Main Responsibilities- Support the Implementation Coordinator in establishing and embedding new processes for managing clinical assets.
- Conduct auditing of clinical asset holdings by locating clinical assets and recording relevant details.
- Support OSS staff in establishing and embedding new processes for the storage of clinical assets.
- Print RFID tags and label clinical assets using RFID tags.
- Verify that clinical assets are allocated a unique RFID and have been correctly tagged.
- Train and support staff to use and maintain asset management hardware and software.
- Conduct system and process testing and support user acceptance tests.
- Collect feedback from stakeholders and report to the Implementation Coordinator.
- Essential criteria:
- Evidence of a broad experience working in a warehouse environment.
- Category B driving licence.
- Desirable criteria:
- Pallet truck training.
- Demonstrates a fair and consistent approach to work and professional relationships.
- Flexibility and adaptability.
- Professional demeanour, able to be appropriately discreet and maintain confidentiality as may be professionally required.
