We are seeking an experienced and talented Registered Home Manager to lead our luxury nursing home in Newton Aycliffe. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of delivering high-quality care, strong business acumen, and marketing skills.

Job Description:

This is a dynamic and challenging role that requires a pragmatic approach to balance running a caring and empathetic service alongside achieving business results. As our Care Home Manager, you will oversee the daily operations of the home, ensuring it meets all regulatory requirements, including those set by the CQC, and maintain excellent standards of care and support.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide leadership and direction to the home's staff team, promoting a culture of kindness, compassion, and empathy.
  • Develop and implement a well-thought-out marketing plan to maintain full occupancy and promote the home's services to potential residents, families, and stakeholders.
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with residents, families, and all stakeholders, responding effectively to their needs and concerns.
  • Have oversight of all records to ensure that the home's administrative tasks are completed in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Continuously monitor and evaluate the home's performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes as necessary.

The successful candidate will be a Registered Nurse with an active NMC certificate and PIN, holding a minimum of a Level 5 NVQ Leadership and Management qualification. You will have previous experience of managing a nursing home, and possess strong leadership and management qualities while taking on a dynamic and flexible approach to the role.

Salary: £58,000 + Bonus
