Child and Adolescent Mental Health Practitioner

To be considered for this role, you must have a recognized qualification in one of the core mental health professions, such as psychiatric nursing, occupational therapy, social work, or clinical/counselling psychology. You must also have completed a postgraduate accredited qualification in CBT.
In addition, we require experience of specialist mental health assessment and treatment of clients across a range of care settings, including work with children. A background in CAMHS is desirable.
We also require knowledge of the theory and practice of CBT within a mental health setting, as well as skills in the use of complex methods of assessment, intervention, and management. You must also be able to communicate effectively, orally and in writing, complex, highly technical information to clients, their families, carers, and other professional colleagues.
