**Job Summary:**

We are seeking a skilled Senior Dietitian to join our team at Cardiff and Vale University Health Board. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing specialist dietetic advice to patients awaiting surgery, developing skills and experience in a new team, and working alongside colleagues across directorates.

About the Role:

This is an exciting opportunity to develop your clinical skills in chronic disease management, including Diabetes and weight management. You will work within a friendly and highly skilled department, with numerous opportunities for professional and personal development.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide specialist dietetic advice to patients awaiting surgery.
  • Develop skills and experience in a new team supporting people awaiting surgery.
  • Work alongside colleagues across directorates, including peri-operative care, surgery and therapies.

The ideal candidate will have a degree in dietetics or a related field, and relevant experience in clinical dietetics. They will also be able to demonstrate that they share our organisational values in line with Caring for People, Keeping People Well.

We estimate the salary for this role to be around £38,610 - £49,074 per annum, depending on experience.
