About the Role

We are seeking a creative, commercial, and forward-thinking Mandarin-speaking marketing manager to join our fast-paced, energetic business. As a key member of our marketing team, you will be responsible for supporting marketing for China with a focus on social media, working closely with our China digital agencies and content creators.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead China social marketing, working with a social media agency to develop social strategy and content for various CN social channels, including RED, WeChat, and Weibo.
  • Track and analyze social media metrics to evaluate campaign success and content direction strategies.
  • Manage the content calendar, ensuring timely delivery of posts and monitoring social media trends to incorporate relevant topics into content.
  • Local content creation, brainstorming, creating, and managing content projects based on seasonal, NPD, and local market needs.
  • Manage social paid media budget, working with a paid media agency to track performance and optimize content and paid investment to support E-commerce growth.
  • Manage all brand visual touchpoints across social and E-commerce platforms to ensure brand authenticity and consistency.
  • Liaise with the global social team on global/local market insights, aligning on content strategy and brand presence in the local market.
  • Propose local digital communication solutions to support business needs, contributing to targeting and audience discussions, and analyzing consumer/market insights and competitor activities.
Requirements
  • Native speakers of Chinese and fluent in English (written and spoken).
  • Experience in social media management with a focus on the jewelry, fashion, or beauty industry.
  • A genuine passion and deep understanding of the fashion industry, knowledge of industry trends and audience preferences.
  • Experience in graphic design and video editing is a plus.
  • Proactive, up-to-date with China social trends, influencer landscape, and content themes.
  • Ability to balance between a robust analytical capability and an interest in the creative process.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Adept at managing multiple priorities and with meticulous attention to detail.
