As an Early Years Educator, you will be responsible for creating a stimulating learning environment that encourages children to explore, learn, and thrive. Your expertise in early childhood education will help shape the educational journey of our students.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Develop and implement educational programmes that cater to the diverse needs of each child.
  2. Create a safe, welcoming, and inclusive environment for all children.
  3. Monitor and assess children's development, tracking progress and identifying areas for improvement.
  4. Communicate effectively with children, parents, and colleagues to build strong relationships.
  5. Implement positive behaviour management strategies to promote a positive learning environment.
  6. Lead group activities that encourage teamwork, collaboration, and social skills development.
  7. Maintain a clean, organised, and safe nursery space, adhering to health and safety guidelines.
  8. Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and enhance the overall learning experience.
Requirements:
  • PgCE/QTS qualification.
  • A degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field is essential.
  • Previous experience working with children in a nursery or childcare setting is highly desirable.
  • A strong knowledge of the EYFS framework.
  • Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
  • Demonstrated leadership abilities to manage small groups of children effectively.
  • A proactive approach to driving children's engagement through creative play and structured activities.
  • An understanding of child development principles and the ability to apply them in practice.
  • Familiarity with BSL/Makaton is advantageous.

The estimated salary for this position is £27,800 per annum, based on national averages and industry standards.
