We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Early Years Practitioner to join our team at Bright Horizons Moortown Day Nursery and Preschool in Leeds. As an experienced professional, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and education to children aged 0-5 years.

Job Summary

This is a part-time position working within our Level 3 qualified team. You will be responsible for planning, creating, and implementing engaging activities tailored to each child's needs, promoting their development towards key milestones.

In this role, you will work closely with colleagues to maintain a positive, happy, and safe environment. You will also develop and maintain strong relationships with parents/carers, ensuring they are kept informed about their child's progress.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver engaging activities that promote child development
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with parents/carers
  • Promote child welfare, protection, health, and safety
  • Contribute to a positive and inclusive team culture

Requirements:

  • Full and relevant Level 3 or above Early Years qualification
  • Previous experience working with children (ideally as a Nursery Nurse, Nursery Practitioner, or Early Years Educator)
  • Passion for making learning fun and engaging for each child
  • Ability to build trust and strong working relationships with colleagues and parents
  • Strong knowledge of Safeguarding, Child Protection, and legislative requirements

Salary: £28,000 - £32,500 per annum, depending on qualifications and experience
