The Role

This is an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Mechanical Engineer. You'll work collaboratively with your teammates to design and build each engineering system, leveraging your technical expertise and problem-solving skills.

  • You'll be responsible for helping design innovative systems from first principles, from concept through to detailed design, while maintaining technical excellence.
  • You may be assigned different roles project-to-project, requiring adaptability and flexibility.

Your Key Responsibilities

">

Your core responsibilities include:

">
  • Managing supplier progress, holding regular meetings and in-person support.
  • Preparing technical documentation & design calculations for peer review, and checking third party documentation.
  • Preparing for and carrying out testing, commissioning and mobilisation activities.
  • Liaising with other business functions, including finance and HSSEQ, for support and guidance.
  • Supporting your teammates by sharing your knowledge and insights in working groups and presentations, where applicable.

Requirements

">

To succeed in this role, you will need:

">
  • A degree-level qualification, or equivalent, in a technical field, such as Mechanical Engineering, Structural Engineering, Offshore Engineering, Marine Engineering, or Naval Architecture.
  • The ability to work with Autodesk Inventor software.
  • Proficiency in hand calculations, through to Staad and FEA.
