As a Psychological Therapist in Primary Care, you will play a vital role in delivering specialist psychological services to patients with complex mental health needs. You will work closely with our multidisciplinary team to provide evidence-based interventions and support patients in achieving their goals.

The Role

This part-time post offers a competitive hourly rate of £35-£55 per hour, depending on experience. We also provide a comprehensive benefits package, including pension scheme, annual leave, and opportunities for professional development.

  • Provide individual and group therapy sessions for patients with anxiety, depression, and trauma.
  • Conduct regular assessment and review sessions to monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly.
  • Collaborate with GPs, community teams, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care coordination.
Requirements
  • Doctoral level training in clinical psychology accredited by the BPS or its approved equivalent.
  • Registration with the HCPC as a Practitioner Psychologist.
  • At least 2 years' experience of working as a qualified Clinical Psychologist in a similar role.
