We are seeking an experienced Clinical Psychologist to join our team in the North West Boroughs Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust.

About the RoleThe successful candidate will be responsible for providing a qualified specialist clinical psychology service to clients of the service team. This will include:
- Providing specialist psychological assessments and therapy
- Offering advice and consultation on clients' psychological care to non-psychologist colleagues and other professionals
- Working autonomously within professional guidelines and the overall framework of the Directorate's and team's policies and procedures
The key responsibilities of this role include:
- Formulating and implementing plans for the formal psychological treatment and/or management of clients' psychological problems
- Implementing a range of psychological interventions for individuals, carers, families, and groups
- Evaluating and making decisions about treatment options, taking into account both theoretical and therapeutic models
- Exercising autonomous professional responsibility for the assessment, treatment, and discharge of clients whose problems are managed by psychologically based standard care plans
The ideal candidate will possess:
- A Doctoral level training in clinical psychology or its approved equivalent accredited by the British Psychological Society
- Registration with the Health and Care Professions Council as a Practitioner Psychologist
- Postgraduate/doctoral training in one or more additional specialised areas of psychological practice
- Accreditation from the UK Council for Psychotherapy, British Association for Behavioural and Cognitive Psychotherapies, or British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (or equivalent)
The salary for this role is £53,755 - £60,504 per annum pro rata, depending on experience. As a member of our team, you will also receive a comprehensive benefits package, including access to ongoing training and development opportunities.
