Business Development Position

Estimated Salary: £31,000-£36,000 per annum.

A manufacturing business based in Hinckley is seeking an experienced Account Manager to join their team on a full-time basis. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing customer relationships and driving sales growth through effective communication and negotiation.

Key responsibilities include:

  • To serve as the primary point of contact for customer inquiries.
  • Efficiently log and coordinate all customer interactions.
  • Accurately document sales orders, processing, and customer interactions.
  • Handle customer inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
  • Create quotations using the internal system and ensure all necessary documentation is in place.
  • Maintain strong relationships between customers and the business.
  • Negotiate with suppliers for optimal pricing and lead times.
  • Guarantee timely deliveries by closely monitoring supplier performance.

About You:

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • High proficiency in Microsoft applications, particularly Outlook, Excel, and Word.
  • A knowledge of Sage or similar accounting systems would be advantageous.
  • Demonstrate adaptability and a proactive approach to work.
  • Desirable experience within a similar role.
