Business Development Executive

A manufacturing business based in Hinckley is seeking an experienced Account Manager to join their team on a full-time basis. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing customer relationships and driving sales growth through effective communication and negotiation.
Key responsibilities include:
- To serve as the primary point of contact for customer inquiries.
- Efficiently log and coordinate all customer interactions.
- Accurately document sales orders, processing, and customer interactions.
- Handle customer inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
- Create quotations using the internal system and ensure all necessary documentation is in place.
- Maintain strong relationships between customers and the business.
- Negotiate with suppliers for optimal pricing and lead times.
- Guarantee timely deliveries by closely monitoring supplier performance.
About You:
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- High proficiency in Microsoft applications, particularly Outlook, Excel, and Word.
- A knowledge of Sage or similar accounting systems would be advantageous.
- Demonstrate adaptability and a proactive approach to work.
- Desirable experience within a similar role.
