About the Role

Lifeways, a leading specialist support services provider, is seeking an enthusiastic and compassionate Support Worker to join our Cramlington team. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing person-centred support to individuals with complex needs, enabling them to live fulfilling lives in their community.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support individuals with daily living tasks, such as personal care, cooking, and household chores
  • Encourage and facilitate participation in community activities, including swimming, shopping, and social events
  • Work collaboratively with the service user, their family, and other professionals to develop and implement support plans
  • Contribute to a safe and supportive environment, promoting the service user's independence and well-being
  • Participate in ongoing training and development to enhance your skills and knowledge
