Primary Care Mental Health Specialist

At Cumbria, Northumberland, Tyne and Wear (CNTW) NHS Foundation Trust, we are committed to providing high-quality mental health services. As a Mental Health Practitioner, you will play a crucial role in delivering care to patients in primary care settings.
The ideal candidate will possess a professional qualification and current registration as a First-Level Registered Nurse (RNMH, RMN, RNLD), or equivalent as an AHP, Social Worker, or Clinical Psychologist. They will have a proven track record of post-registration training and clinical experience/psychological interventions relevant to the post.
A degree or equivalent qualification in evidence-based psychological therapies relevant to Pathway is also essential. The successful candidate will work autonomously within GP practices, offering initial mental health consultations, assessments, formulations, signposting, and onward referrals. They will provide brief interventions suited to patients in primary care and be part of a team that develops innovative approaches to mental health in primary care.

The estimated salary for this role is £43,041 - £72,866 per annum, depending on qualifications and experience.
