About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Specialist Physiotherapist to join our team at Manchester University NHS Foundation Trust. As a Specialist Physiotherapist, you will play a key role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the development of our services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide specialist physiotherapy services to patients across a range of settings, including hospital and community environments.
  • Contribute to the development of our services, including the design and implementation of new physiotherapy programs and the evaluation of existing services.
  • Work closely with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless patient care and to promote effective communication and collaboration.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with patients, families, and carers to ensure that their needs are met and that they receive the best possible care.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest research and best practices in physiotherapy and apply this knowledge to improve patient outcomes and service delivery.

Requirements

  • Registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) as a Physiotherapist.
  • Postgraduate qualification in a relevant area of physiotherapy, such as respiratory or musculoskeletal physiotherapy.
  • Experience of working in a specialist physiotherapy role, preferably in a hospital or community setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and carers.
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team, with a strong commitment to delivering high-quality patient care.
