Radiographer Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Radiographer Specialist to join our multidisciplinary team at Birmingham Women's and Children's NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for undertaking specialised cross-sectional imaging procedures at a consistently high technical level and professional standard.
Key Responsibilities- Perform MRI and CT scans on Paediatric patients to produce high-quality diagnostic images.
- Work in line with service need and within professional scope of practice, representing the imaging department at all times.
- Participate in regular clinical audit and quality assurance testing to promote continuous improvement in service delivery and quality within imaging.
- Supervise recently qualified radiographers, support workers, and students, demonstrating levels of responsibility and initiative.
- Assess, prioritise, and organise own workload within assigned area of work, following policies, procedures, and protocols.
- Participate in a 24/7 on-call provision as rostered, including weekends and bank holidays.
- Be responsible for own CPD and professional and personal development.
