Job Summary

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated and enthusiastic Radiographer to join the Imaging team at University Hospitals Birmingham NHS Foundation Trust. As a Specialist Radiographer, you will be responsible for providing high-quality imaging services to patients while ensuring a positive patient experience.

Main Duties
  • Support the delivery of the DR service by prioritizing workload and managing a designated area of the Imaging department.
  • Support the training and development of junior staff, student radiographers, and other learners.
  • Participate in departmental audits and ensure that all equipment faults are reported and actioned in a timely manner.
  • Build relationships and liaise with other departments within the hospital and external visitors.

Person Specification
  • Essential qualifications: DCR/BSc Diagnostic Radiography, HCPC Registration, and evidence of relevant UK experience.
  • Desirable qualifications: Up-to-date knowledge and awareness of current NHS issues.
