An exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated and enthusiastic Radiographer to join the Imaging team at University Hospitals Birmingham NHS Foundation Trust. As a Band 6 Specialist Radiographer, you will be responsible for providing high-quality imaging services to patients while ensuring a positive patient experience.
Main DutiesThe successful candidate will be responsible for the day-to-day running of a designated area of the Imaging department, including clinical prioritization of workload, supporting the training and development of junior staff, and participating in departmental audits. You will also be expected to deputize for the Clinical Team Leader in their absence and ensure all equipment faults are reported and actioned in a timely manner.

Person Specification- Essential qualifications: DCR/BSc Diagnostic Radiography, HCPC Registration, and evidence of relevant UK experience.
- Essential experience: evidence of professional up-to-date knowledge, up-to-date technical knowledge, wide range of practical experience, and team leadership skills.
- Desirable qualifications: up-to-date knowledge and awareness of current NHS issues.
- Desirable experience: strong leadership skills, good presentation skills.
