Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Development Partner Team Leader to join our growing team. In this role, you will lead and manage a team of dedicated professionals, providing exceptional sales support to our Regulatory Services/Medical Devices Business Development Teams across the UK and EMEA region.

Responsibilities

  • Provide effective line management for all assigned Business Development Partners (BDPs).
  • Develop, implement, and oversee training programs for BDPs, ensuring they possess the necessary skills and knowledge to excel in their roles.
  • Coach and mentor the team, identifying individual strengths and areas for development. Foster a collaborative and supportive work environment.
  • Collaborate closely with the BDP team to ensure consistent delivery of high-quality service and achievement of key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Communicate effectively with team members, fostering clear understanding of sales processes and ensuring compliance with BSI procedures.
  • Continuously improve client service by addressing queries promptly and efficiently. Build strong relationships with clients based on trust and mutual respect.
  • Drive process improvements within the sales support function, streamlining workflows and enhancing efficiency.
  • Lead problem-solving initiatives, effectively addressing challenges and finding innovative solutions to meet client needs.
  • Support the management team by undertaking project work and contributing to strategic initiatives.

  • Proven experience in leading and managing sales support teams within a business-to-business environment.
  • Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and coaching skills. Ability to effectively motivate and guide team members.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Demonstrated ability to identify opportunities for improvement and implement effective solutions.
  • Proficiency in CRM software such as Salesforce. Experience with data management and reporting.
  • Commitment to delivering exceptional client service and building lasting relationships.
