Job Description

RBW Consulting is seeking a highly experienced and skilled Director of Research and Development to join our team. This is a key hire for our organization, and we are looking for a senior research professional to lead our research and development efforts.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement the research and development strategy for our organization, ensuring alignment with our business objectives.
  • Lead a team of researchers and scientists to design, develop, and test new products and technologies.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including clinical development, regulatory affairs, and manufacturing, to ensure seamless product development.
  • Manage and oversee the development of preclinical and clinical trial protocols, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Provide scientific expertise and guidance to internal stakeholders, including business development, marketing, and sales teams.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and regulatory changes, and apply this knowledge to inform our research and development strategy.
Requirements:
  • PhD in a scientific discipline, such as biology, chemistry, or pharmacology.
  • Proven track record of leading research and development teams and projects, with a strong understanding of the drug development process.
  • Experience in managing and overseeing preclinical and clinical trials, including protocol development and regulatory submissions.
  • Strong understanding of regulatory requirements, including FDA and EMA regulations.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
