Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Research and Insights Leader to join our team at Impatient Health. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for leading our research and insights team, driving business growth, and developing strategic research initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the research and insights team, setting the bar for quality and delivering world-class insights
  • Support Impatient Health's strategy for original research in collaboration with company directors and the broader research team
  • Proactively get involved in business development, working with sales and marketing colleagues to ensure the right strategy is growing your practice
  • Lead and project manage research projects, delivering insights that bring business value and a great client experience
  • Undertake qualitative and quantitative research, using these two sources of insight in parallel to inform and develop findings
  • Synthesise and communicate research insights and findings in compelling and immersive ways, innovating the ways in which we do so
  • Evaluate and evolve our methods, tools, and techniques for research, ensuring consistent, effective, and up-to-date practices
  • Commit to ethical research methods, evangelizing for and reflecting in the practices of the research team

Requirements:

  • Driven by targets and commercial acumen, translating into research analysis and business growth
  • Strategic research thinker, able to look at the process of research itself and determine a vision for its evolution
  • Knowledge of available research methods and ability to distil and extract insights from qualitative and quantitative data
  • Natural ability to draw out a compelling 'story' behind the data and present it in an engaging and immersive way
  • Confidence to communicate research findings across all organisational levels, both internally and externally
  • Existing network within pharma and understanding of the life sciences and/or pharmaceutical landscape
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and within a team
  • Self-awareness of knowing when to ask for help and support
  • Natural organiser, enjoying the variety that comes with juggling multiple projects

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working in management consultancy or a business intelligence company focused within pharma
  • Some level of commercial experience, either within business development or as a former entrepreneur
  • Understanding of strategic research methods, such as design thinking, human-centred design, or workshop design and facilitation
