About the Role
The School of Electronic Engineering and Computer Science at Queen Mary University of London is seeking a highly skilled Research Assistant or Postdoctoral Research Assistant to join our team in the Machine Intelligence and Decision Systems group. The successful candidate will work on a collaborative project with the Antennas & Electromagnetics group to develop decision-making systems in electromagnetic warfare.
About You
We are looking for a talented individual with a strong background in Computer Science or a related field. For the RA level, a MSc degree is required, while a PhD is necessary for the PDRA level. The ideal candidate will have expertise in intelligent decision-making under uncertainty, including influence diagrams, causal Bayesian networks, and Markov decision processes.
About the Project
The project is funded by the Defence Science and Technology Laboratory (Dstl) through the Electromagnetic Environment (EME) Hub. The successful candidate will work closely with the project leads to develop and evaluate decision-making systems for autonomous electromagnetic defence systems.
