Senior Web Developer

We are seeking an experienced Senior Web Developer to join our Environmental Data Science team at UK Centre for Ecology & Hydrology (UKCEH). This is a rewarding opportunity to contribute to the development of exciting tools and interfaces needed to solve complex environmental challenges.
The successful candidate will have a good degree in an appropriate subject, or significant experience working in a Software Engineering environment. Key skills include experience in front-end development including UI/UX design, JavaScript frameworks (e.g. React, Vue.js), and an understanding of responsive design principles.
As a valued member of our team, you'll enjoy a range of benefits, including 27 days annual leave, rising to 29 days after five years, 10% employer pension contribution, and enhanced maternity and paternity leave.
A key aspect of this role is collaboration with designers to create fantastic user experiences (UX) and creating clean, accessible, and efficient UI components using technologies such as JavaScript and React.
The salary for this position is £37,405 - £39,694 per annum.
