**Job Description:**

We are seeking a highly skilled **Senior Cell Development Scientist** to join our client's team. The successful candidate will have a strong background in battery cell or electrochemical energy conversion cell development, with experience in translation of cell design changes and quantifying these electrochemically.

Key responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain documentation, including design specifications, test plans, and user manuals.
  • Work collaboratively with the cell testing team to engineer cell designs that can impact parameters such as sealing and cell interfaces.
  • Refine design and testing protocols to optimise cell design and testing methodology.
  • Source components or materials, tools, or services required for cell engineering and development from external suppliers and vendors.

**Requirements:**

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Chemical, Mechanical or Electrochemical engineering or a closely related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in battery cell or electrochemical energy conversion cell development.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.

The estimated salary for this position is $125,000 - $165,000 per annum, depending on experience.
