We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Assistant Headteacher/SENDCo to join our client's team at Hueller Ltd trading as Atrium Associates. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in supporting the strategic leadership and management of the school, ensuring high standards of education and care for all students, particularly those with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND).

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage the SEND provision across the school, ensuring compliance with SEND legislation and policies.
  • Provide guidance and support to staff on effective strategies for supporting students with SEND.
  • Work with parents, carers, and external professionals to coordinate personalised learning plans.
  • Assist in whole-school leadership and contribute to school improvement initiatives.

The ideal candidate will possess Qualified Teacher Status, a Postgraduate level qualification, NPQ Award, and SENCO qualification. They will also have a good understanding of how children and those with SEND learn, as well as the ability to adapt teaching to meet the needs of the pupils.
