Justice Social Work Team Leader Role in South Lanarkshire

South Lanarkshire Justice Social Work Services is seeking a skilled and motivated Team Leader to join its Cambuslang Locality Team. The successful candidate will have recent experience of Justice Social Work and a wider knowledge of issues around the strategic Justice Social Work environment.

The post holder will be responsible for maintaining high standards of service, developing team potential, and taking a lead role in the development of Justice Services. They will also be accountable for team performance, managing qualified and para-professional social work staff, and monitoring work allocation within teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Chairing reviews and planning meetings up to and including MAPPA 1 level
  • Maintaining Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
  • Liaising with the wider service and partner agencies
  • Promoting good practice within the team and wider service

Requirements:

  • Hold a degree-level qualification in Social Work or equivalent
  • Be SSSC registered
  • Undertake Non-Personal Police Vetting Level 2 as part of a requirement to use ViSOR

Salary and Benefits:

We offer a competitive salary of £48,080 - £49,040 per annum, along with excellent benefits and opportunities for professional development.
