Job Opportunity: SEMH Teaching Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced SEMH Teaching Assistant to join our team at a fantastic special school in Yeovil. This is a full-time, permanent position that requires a strong understanding of special education, particularly SEMH.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Offer classroom support to students and teachers
  • Work on a 1:1 basis and lead small group interventions
  • Deliver feedback to tutors and senior members of staff
  • Contribute to devising activities and bring a creative, engaging attitude to the classroom
