We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Special Education Needs Teacher to join our team at The Cambian Group. As a SEN Teacher, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality education and care to young people with autism and complex needs.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will be responsible for creating and delivering engaging and ambitious curriculum plans, tailored to meet the diverse needs of our students. You will also act as a personal tutor, supporting students to achieve their EHCP outcomes and develop essential life skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement high-quality curriculum plans, incorporating therapeutic approaches and outdoor activities.
  • Work collaboratively with the multi-disciplinary team to deliver care and education that promotes independence and resilience.
  • Support students in developing their PSHE skills, with a focus on post-16 education.
  • Contribute to the development of the college's curriculum, ensuring it meets the needs of our students.

Requirements:

  • Qualified teacher with experience in special educational needs.
  • Passion for teaching and commitment to fostering a love of learning.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
