Job Summary: We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Youth Support Worker to join our team at Cambian Lufton College. Our college supports 16-25 year olds with special educational needs for day and residential education placements.

About the Role: As a Youth Support Worker, you will work alongside the education and clinical teams to support students with their study program, work experience and activities, as well as supporting with personal care, medication, health needs and relationships and friendships with family and peers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support students with their study program, work experience and activities
  • Support with personal care, medication, health needs and relationships and friendships with family and peers
  • Work alongside the education and clinical teams to provide a holistic approach to student support
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with students, families and colleagues
  • Participate in training and development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge

Requirements: To be successful in this role, you will need to be passionate about improving the lives of others, innovative, engaging, enthusiastic and inspirational. You will also need to be a positive and consistent role model to others, a creative thinker and implementer, an excellent communicator and team player, seeking career development and training, and looking to develop expertise in special educational needs and Autism.
