**Teaching Personnel**: Enhancing Education Outcomes for South Somerset's Young People

Key attributes for this role include:

  • Proven experience in supporting children or young people with mental health difficulties, ADHD, Autism, or other behavioral challenges.
  • A strong belief in the importance of high expectations for student progress, attainment, and behavior.
  • The ability to think critically and solve problems independently.
  • Patient, empathetic, and effective communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational and resourcefulness skills, with the capacity to work under pressure while maintaining good time management.
  • An understanding of confidentiality and safeguarding principles.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills, enabling the development of positive relationships with students, staff, and stakeholders.
  • Emotional resilience when working with challenging behaviors and attitudes.

**Salary:** The estimated salary for this role is £28,000 - £35,000 per annum, depending on experience. This amount is inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. Please note that this is a temporary position, although there may be opportunities for permanent employment for the right candidate.
