Lead Shift Engineer Job Opportunity

We are working with a leading FM service provider to find a skilled Lead Shift Engineer to work in one of their critical trophy buildings in London.

Job Summary

The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the HV switching process, drafting RAMS, and authorising works completed by shift technicians. They will also be required to delegate tasks, issue permits to work, and organise contractors.

Key Responsibilities
  • Write and implement HV switching schedules
  • Oversee the execution of HV switching on designated shift patterns
  • Draft and maintain RAMS documents
  • Authorise works completed by shift technicians
  • Delegate tasks and PPMs to a team of 4 shift technicians
  • Issue permits to work and ensure compliance with safety protocols
  • Organise and coordinate contractor activities
  • Oversee overhauls and shutdowns
  • Liaise with the building manager and report on weekly progress
  • Present findings and results to senior personnel and stakeholders
Requirements
  • Minimum 10 years of hands-on maintenance experience in building services
  • Minimum 5 years of high voltage maintenance experience in commercial buildings
  • NVQ/C&G Level 3 in Electrical Installations
  • 18th Edition certification
  • High Voltage Authorised Person qualification
