Job Title: Mechanical Shift Maintenance Engineer

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Shift Maintenance Engineer to join our team at CBW Staffing Solutions. As a Mechanical Shift Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for carrying out electrical, mechanical, and fabric maintenance in a commercial building in Kings Cross, London.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Monitor and maintain mechanical plant, including pumps, motors, seals, and bearings.
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as air conditioning and water treatment.
  • Carry out plumbing tasks, including unblocking toilets and replacing taps and washers.
  • Monitor BMS systems and perform basic electrical duties.
  • Ensure all plant and BMS checks are completed on time and all problems are recorded and communicated to the Shift Lead or Supervisor.
  • Carry out PPM in accordance with set schedules and maintain engineering standards to maximise operational effectiveness and reliability.
  • Be proactive regarding preventative maintenance and good site husbandry.
  • Adhere to set engineering standards in accordance with Health and Safety at Work Act (HASAWA) requirements.
  • Ensure onsite Quality Assurance procedures are adhered to and maintain accurate records and documentation associated with the mechanical aspects of the PPM and plant.
Requirements:
  • Mechanically qualified level 2&3 (C&G, NVQ etc)
  • Experience working in a large commercial building
  • Proven track record in commercial building maintenance
  • Multi-skilled
  • Good communication skills
  • Excellent customer skills
