Job Title: Mechanical Shift Maintenance Engineer

CBW Staffing Solutions is seeking a skilled Mechanical Shift Maintenance Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our commercial building's mechanical systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Monitor and maintain mechanical plant, including pumps, motors, seals, and bearings
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as air conditioning and water treatment system checks
  • Carry out plumbing repairs and maintenance, including unblocking toilets and replacing taps and washers
  • Monitor Building Management System (BMS) and perform basic electrical duties
  • Ensure all plant and BMS checks are completed on time and all problems are recorded and communicated to the Shift Lead or Supervisor
  • Carry out Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) in accordance with set schedules
  • Be proactive in preventative maintenance and good site husbandry
  • Adhere to set engineering standards and ensure onsite Quality Assurance procedures are followed
  • Respond to Helpdesk related reactive maintenance issues
Requirements:
  • Mechanically qualified level 2&3 (C&G, NVQ etc)
  • Experience working in a large commercial building
  • Proven track record in commercial building maintenance
  • Multi-skilled and able to work independently
  • Good communication and customer skills
