Job Title: Senior Operations Analyst, Private Credit

Hayfin Capital Management is seeking a highly skilled Senior Operations Analyst to join its Private Credit team. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for supporting the private credit, special opportunities, private equity, and maritime strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the Team Leader with strategic planning for the team.
  • Provide guidance and training to the wider team.
  • Support all aspects of the Hayfin Agency business.
  • Coordinate with internal teams to ensure upcoming deal activity is clear and understood.
  • Compile daily cash ladders required for the Treasury Team.
  • Reconcile debt liability facilities in systems.
  • Ensure timely and accurate settlement of all asset classes.
  • Reconcile corporate actions and credit events.
  • Oversee the servicing of assets within the fund, including administration, reporting, and compliance.
  • Handle payment processing and approvals.
  • Perform daily cash and position reconciliations.
  • Respond to internal or external stakeholders' queries/requests.
  • Manage relationships with 3rd parties and oversee their performance based on SLAs.
  • Ensure the integrity and quality of data processed by our team.
  • Prioritize risk management and control measures to mitigate potential issues or exposures.
  • Participate in team or firmwide projects.

Requirements:

  • Adaptability and flexibility in response to changing conditions.
  • Operational knowledge of all asset classes, data processing, reconciliations, and payments.
  • Proficiency in Excel, Bloomberg, and Asset Servicing Systems.
  • Strong technical proficiency, attention to detail, and data governance skills.
  • Effective management of deliverables and deadlines.
  • Prioritize and delegate effectively, function independently in a complex environment.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships internally and externally.
  • Ability to challenge the status quo, desire for continuous improvement, and change mindset.
  • Collaboration with internal and external teams, supporting team training and integration.
  • Project focus, including process reviews, automation, and efficiency projects.
  • Problem-solving oriented, strong decision-making skills aligned with business direction and strategy.
  • Risk assessment, ensuring adherence to processes and controls, logging and mitigating operational incidents.
