Senior Operations Analyst, Private Credit

Hayfin Capital Management is a leading alternative asset management firm with a strong presence in the private debt, liquid credit, and private equity solutions businesses. We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Operations Analyst to join our Private Credit Team in London or New York.
About the RoleThe Senior Operations Analyst will play a critical role in supporting the Private Credit Team in ensuring the smooth operation of our business. This includes coordinating with internal teams, managing relationships with third-party vendors, and overseeing the servicing of assets within the fund. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of operational knowledge, data processing, and reconciliation, as well as excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
Key Responsibilities- Support the Private Credit Team Leader with strategic planning and team management.
- Provide guidance and training to the wider team on operational aspects.
- Manage relationships with third-party vendors and oversee their performance.
- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure timely and accurate settlement of all asset classes.
- Reconcile daily cash and position reconciliations.
- Respond to internal or external stakeholders' queries and requests.
- Participate in team or firm-wide projects to drive process improvements and efficiency.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience working with primary and secondary loans, as an administrator or buy-side operations.
- Bachelor's Degree in Finance or related discipline.
- Experience managing third-party vendors and knowledge of onboarding/offboarding of funds and bank accounts.
- Understanding of KPI/KRI reporting.
