Job Title: Senior Operations Analyst, Private Credit

Hayfin Capital Management is a leading alternative asset management firm with a strong presence in the private debt, liquid credit, and private equity solutions businesses. We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Operations Analyst to join our Private Credit Team in London or New York.

Job Summary

The Senior Operations Analyst will play a critical role in supporting the Private Credit Team in ensuring the smooth operation of our business. This includes coordinating with internal teams, managing relationships with third-party vendors, and overseeing the servicing of assets within our funds. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of operational processes, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the Private Credit Team in strategic planning and team management
  • Provide guidance and training to the wider team on operational processes and procedures
  • Manage relationships with third-party vendors and oversee their performance
  • Coordinate with internal teams to ensure timely and accurate settlement of all asset classes
  • Oversee the servicing of assets within our funds, including administration, reporting, and compliance
  • Manage payment processing and approvals
  • Perform daily cash and position reconciliations
  • Respond to internal and external stakeholders' queries and requests
  • Participate in team or firm-wide projects
Requirements
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience working in operations, preferably in the private debt or private equity industry
  • Strong understanding of operational processes and procedures
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks and deadlines
  • Experience managing third-party vendors and overseeing their performance
  • Knowledge of data visualization tools and systems
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance or related field
  • Experience working with primary and secondary loans
  • Knowledge of onboarding and offboarding processes
  • Understanding of KPI/KRI reporting
