Job Title: Operations Analyst, Private Credit

Hayfin Capital Management is a leading alternative asset management firm with a strong presence in the private debt market. We are seeking an experienced Operations Analyst to join our Private Credit team in London or New York.

Job Overview

The Operations Analyst will play a critical role in supporting the Private Credit team, which is responsible for managing a portfolio of private debt investments. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our business, including managing cash flows, reconciliations, and settlements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage cash flows and reconciliations for our private debt investments
  • Coordinate with internal teams to ensure timely and accurate settlements
  • Oversee the servicing of assets within our funds, including administration, reporting, and compliance
  • Handle payment processing and approvals
  • Perform daily cash and position reconciliations
  • Respond to internal and external stakeholders' queries and requests
  • Manage relationships with third-party vendors and oversee their performance
  • Ensure the integrity and quality of data processed by our team
  • Prioritize risk management and control measures to mitigate potential issues or exposures
Requirements
  • Adaptability and flexibility in response to changing conditions
  • Operational knowledge of all asset classes, including data processing, reconciliations, and payments
  • Proficiency in Excel, Bloomberg, and asset servicing systems
  • Strong technical proficiency, including attention to detail and data governance
  • Effective management of deliverables and deadlines
  • Prioritization and delegation of tasks
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills
  • Ability to challenge the status quo and drive continuous improvement
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance or a related field
  • Minimum of 1-3 years of experience in private debt operations or a related field
