About the Role
We are currently recruiting for a Data Centre Shift Technician to join our team at a critical site in Reading. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the reliability of critical systems within a state-of-the-art data centre environment.

Your primary duties will include conducting preventative maintenance and fault diagnosis on critical equipment, working alongside and overseeing subcontractors during planned and reactive maintenance tasks. You will also be responsible for maintaining water systems in compliance with L8 Legionella legislation and identifying innovative solutions to improve building systems and processes.

Responsibilities:
  • Conduct preventative maintenance and fault diagnosis on critical equipment.
  • Work alongside and oversee subcontractors during planned and reactive maintenance tasks.
  • Maintain water systems in compliance with L8 Legionella legislation.
  • Identify and implement innovative solutions to improve building systems and processes.

Requirements:
  • Technical qualification in electrical or mechanical engineering.
  • Awareness of site criticality and associated risks.
  • A valid UK driving license.
