About the Role:

The Head of Asset Care will be a key member of the estates and facilities senior management team, responsible for delivering the Trust's operational capital plans. This includes developing design feasibility schemes and cost estimates to support the development of business cases, as well as delivering approved schemes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design innovative solutions to support the delivery of Strategic Development and Estates Transformation Plans.
  • Support the development of Business Cases for operational capital schemes by preparing feasibility designs, costings, and development programmes.
  • Design and tender approved schemes in accordance with relevant legislation, guidance, and Trust procedures.
  • Continuously review and adapt the Trust's capital procurement framework to ensure access to suitable contractors/professional services.
  • Provide monthly reports on progress of all projects for which the post holder is responsible.
  • Ensure accurate and timely completion of mandatory reporting information returns.
  • Ensure all work undertaken on the estate is carried out in accordance with the Trust's safe working procedures, statutory requirements, and HTM guidance.

Requirements:

  • Extensive experience as a senior manager within an estates and facilities department.
  • Good knowledge of all aspects of estates and facilities management.
  • Detailed knowledge of statutory requirements in relation to estates and facilities.
  • Detailed knowledge of HTM/HBN requirements in relation to design.
  • Experience of working across departments and organisational boundaries.
  • Extensive experience of designing and managing large scale development schemes.

Working Arrangements:

  • Full-time position.
  • 37.5 hours per week.
  • Monday to Friday, day shift.

Location: In person.

Job Type: Full-time.

Pay: £36.01 per hour.
