Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Technical Support Manager to join our team at a well-established Marine Electronics manufacturer based in Southampton. As a Technical Support Manager, you will be responsible for leading the training and support of our products, working closely with customers to develop novel solutions and providing technical assistance to our team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the training and support of our products to ensure customer satisfaction and technical expertise.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers to understand their technical needs and provide tailored solutions.
- Collaborate with our engineering team to resolve technical issues and improve product design.
- Provide technical assistance to our team, including training and support on new products and technologies.
- Travel internationally (1-2 times per year) to support customer sites and attend industry events.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience in a technical support or customer-facing role.
- Strong technical knowledge of electronics and PCB design.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Willingness to travel internationally.
