About the Role

We are seeking an experienced EMEA Product Specialist to join our team at Databricks Inc. as a Cloud Data Warehousing Expert. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering thought leadership in Azure Lakehouse best practices for the Databricks Data Intelligence Platform to the EMEA technical community and beyond.

Key Responsibilities
  • Thought Leadership: Deliver expert-level content, including blogs, webinars, how-to guides, and technical know-how, to educate the EMEA technical community on Azure Lakehouse best practices.
  • Adoption and Growth: Collaborate with sales and field engineering leaders to drive adoption of Azure Lakehouse across EMEA, identifying new business opportunities and developing strategies to expand our customer base.
  • Product Strategy and Priorities: Provide informed and data-driven perspectives to influence product strategy and priorities, ensuring that our solutions meet the evolving needs of our customers.
  • Customer Success: Act as the primary point of escalation for complex technical challenges faced by customers, driving customer success and ensuring that our solutions meet their needs.
  • Competitive Conversations: Develop key messaging and approaches to ensure that our EMEA technical field is prepared for competitive conversations, positioning Databricks as a leader in the data and AI market.
Requirements
  • Cloud Data Warehousing Expertise: Proven experience in designing and delivering cloud-based data warehousing solutions in a client or customer environment.
  • Data Warehousing Architecture: Ability to advise customers on data warehousing architecture, including cross-cloud expertise and hands-on experience with Apache Spark, Python, and SQL.
  • Lakehouse Architecture: Demonstrated competence in the Lakehouse architecture, including hands-on experience with Apache Spark, Python, and SQL.
