Role Overview

  • Support the development, management, and delivery of ESG Management Strategies and AESGP for high-performance buildings like 40 Leadenhall.
  • Act as a point of contact and spokesperson on ESG matters to mobilize and operate the building effectively.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders, including Property & Asset Management (PAM) and JLL Head of Performance, to identify sustainability performance opportunities.
  • Sustain occupier engagement programs to leverage building attributes and promote sustainability improvements.

Mobilisation

ESG Management Strategy Development

  • Develop ESG Management Strategies aligned with design intent, specification, and developer aspirations at 40 Leadenhall.
  • Pose metrics to inform compliant delivery by all stakeholders, including Managing Agents, Tenants, Fit-Out Teams, Service Providers, and Suppliers.

Annual ESG Plan

  • Develop AESGP in support of the ESG Strategy detailing ESG measures to monitor performance.
  • The AESGP will include Design for Performance (NABERS UK), Health & Wellbeing, Biodiversity, Waste, and Social Value.
  • Support community engagement programs with building stakeholders to understand their roles in executing the AESGP.
  • Generate ESG HWB fact sheets and guidance to support operations and tenant fit-out.

Building Performance & Certification Support (Energy, Water, Waste & HWB)

  • Support the Head of Performance by incorporating ESG oversight into daily operations.
  • Establish Tenant Engagement programs to encourage tenants to leverage building systems and specification in support of certification and ESG ambitions.
  • Utility Platform & Database for Utilities (Landlord Energy, Water & Waste).
  • Develop third-party proprietary Energy, CO2, and Utility Management Platforms.
  • Confirm contractual requirements over seasonal commissioning/soft landings to identify scope gaps.

Certifications

  • Review metering provisions to ensure strategy aligns with NABERS requirements.
  • Attend select base building commissioning activities to confirm model assumptions.
  • Review commissioning data and agree on changes needed by Contractors' teams, including metering validation certification.
  • Support certifications targeted: BREEAM, Well, Wired, Reset, SmartScore.

Social Value

  • Identify social value strategies and reporting requirements against pre-agreed KPIs, with a provision of case studies where possible.
